Acceptance of services from UK Webhosting Ltd. constitutes agreement to and acceptance of our policies and conditions which are outlined below on this page.
UK Webhosting Ltd. reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time and without prior notice, within the general 'spirit' of the document.
Acceptable Use Policy
All customers must adhere at all times to our acceptable use policy.
Copyrighted material / "Warez"
No customer may use their account or allow their account to be used to host any material which they do not specifically hold the rights to distribute. This includes but is not limited to:
- Commerical music tracks (often in MP3 format)
- Commercial videos - Recorded television broadcasts, movies, documentaries
- Commercial software ("warez"), including "cracks" and emulators/ROMs
Illegal Content
No customer may store or link to information pertaining to any illegal activity, including but not limited to:
- Hacking / Cracking
- Phreaking
- Manufacture of explosives
- Racism / Hate
- Indecent images
- Obtaining goods or funds by deception
Your Responsibilities
Customers of UK Webhosting Ltd. must not commit any acts which harm other customers or disrupt service to other customers whether intentionally or unintentionally. Customers may be held responsible for costs incurred or any damage to equipment as a direct result of their actions.
Resellers or hosting providers using our network may not, under any circumstances, allow their users to break our terms of service or conduct any illegal activity using our network. The reseller is ultimately responsible for any such activity.
Fees and Billing:
Payment dates
All accounts are payable in advance. The standard term is once per calendar month. The billing reference date will be set on creation of an account with us.
Overusage fees
Any additional fees accrued during any calendar month will be invoiced and charged to your credit card along with your bill for the following month.
Payment of Charges
Customers agree to pay all charges accrued in full and on time. Non-payment of charges may result in the suspension of service.
Late payments
All customers are required to place a credit card on file for automatic billing. If your payment is declined, it will be retried within 48 hours. If the payment continues to fail, the customer will be contacted and asked to make alternative arrangements for payment. If the account remains unpaid after 14 days, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate the account, at our sole discretion.
Cancellation / Refund Policy
All accounts have a 7 day "cooling off" period in which time, provided we believe the request is genuine, we may approve a request for cancellation or refund. In most cases, the account is payed 1 calendar month in advance and that payment is non-refundable. If the account is cancelled before the next billing date, no further payments will be taken. Set-up fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Due to their nature, domain name registrations cannot be cancelled under any circumstance and no refund will be made.
Refusal of Service
UK Webhosting Ltd. reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse to provide our services to a prospective clients. Furthermore, we reserve the right to block access to our network from any external sources if such action is deemed necessary to prevent disruption of service to our customers.
Disclaimer
UK Webhosting Ltd. will not be responsible for any damages your business may suffer as a result of your use of the service or as a result of any malfunction or downtime. UK Webhosting Ltd. make no warranty, expressed or implied, for the services we provide. UK Webhosting Ltd. disclaims any warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. This includes loss of data resulting from delays, nondeliveries, wrong delivery, and any and all service interruptions caused by UK Webhosting Ltd. and/or its employees.
